 Happy Birthday to my beautiful niece! I can't believe you're five. It was just yesterday your mom and I let you gnaw on lights (safety first!) to get the perfect image for your family christmas card. Thanks for the many FaceTime sessions and pirouetting across the screen so I can see your awesome ballet moves!
 Meet Briggs & Elle, cousins and best buddies!! We had a fun afternoon running around the RB Inn rose garden a few weeks ago. They are full of energy, personality and smiles. Briggs shared his sweet animal friends and Elle practiced her very best "roar"!
 Little Miss' little brother turned one this week! The whole family was in town for a wedding just before his birthday. This buddy loved the balloons and showing off his tooth. He didn't mind the camera at all until we brought out the cake. He managed some awesome frosting finger paint on his legs, the blanket & the wall amongst a few tears.
Happy Birthday Little Mister!  Carson Gregory at 5 days old. And I got to meet this little nugget on my birthday! He's skeptical of my camera but he'll come around eventually. I can't wait for us to cause as much mischief as his mom and I have gotten into since college. (It will probably involve substantially less glitter.)
 Baby Roper is coming soon! I spent an afternoon with Jon & Janae capturing a few photos before their little one shows up. Bear even came along to 'help' me. I can't wait to meet their little nugget!!!
 On a trip to Atlanta to visit with one of my best friends I snagged a few pictures of her little one. We spent an afternoon with this cutie exploring a train, a park & a construction site (starting her young). I had a wonderful time visiting the whole family so I'm working on moving Georgia closer to California so I can see them more often.

Our afternoon started with a wonderful spread of tasty treats, including the incredible layered red velvet & cheese cake shown above. And the guests showed off their creativity decorating onesies. I think it's safe to say we're all excited to meet this little man!  Last year I made a new years resolution, I wanted to turn my love for photography into more than a hobby. It has been an amazing year. Along with documenting my own travels, I have photographed a newly engaged couple, adorable little ones and sweet families, marketing for a charitable organization, and yoga instructors. This year many of my favorite things have come together in front of my lens. Thank you to all of the wonderful faces shown in this post and many many more, you have encouraged me to continue something I have dreamed of for a long time.
